Day 1

Arrive at Entebbe Airport

On the arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the Laico Lake Victoria Hotel in Entebbe, Uganda. You will enjoy a fantastic dinner and get a good nights sleep to start your journey in the morning.


Days 2 & 3

Visit Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, drive through Kampala the capital city and have lunch in the town of Masindi. Continue driving through Murchison Falls National Park stopping at the top of the falls which is a fantastic sight. Here the Nile, the longest river in the world, is forced through a narrow gap in the rock (only 7 meters wide), before ferociously plunging down 45 meters. Dinner at the lodge. After dinner we will go for an evening game drive…this is truly a unique experience if you have never been on a night game drive before.

The next day we will go for a morning game drive in search of animals like elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos and many others. The game drive takes about 2-3hrs. We will drive back to the lodge for breakfast and later have lunch before taking an afternoon boat cruise to the foot of Murchison Falls. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.

Day 4

Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park

After our drive from Murchison Falls N.P we head Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon on full board.


Day 5

Chimp Trekking in Kibale National Forest

Spend this day doing chimp tracking inside the forest. You get to encounter other animals like baboons, monkeys, and many species of beautiful birds.  Lunch, dinner, and overnight at Primate Lodge


Days 6 & 7 

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for afternoon chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. Expect to see primates of different species,including Black and White Colobus monkeys, and a variety wildlife that inhabit the Kyambura Gorge.

Our early morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise this morning will take us through the savannas and we will have the opportunity to see antelopes, hyeans’s, lion, and many other native species that inhabit this area. Return to the lodge for lunch and a chance to relax before taking an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including Pink-backed pelicans, Pied and Malachite kingfishers, Saddle-billed stork and many others.

Days 8, 9, & 10

Queen to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. We will drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth called Ishasha. Here we will have lunch by the Ishasha River and try to find the famed Ishasha tree-climbing lions before continuing on to Bwindi, which is home to the few remaining mountain gorillas. Bird life and primate life in Bwindi is amazing, and there is an incredible variety of flora.

Gorilla Trekking Day!

After an early breakfast and briefing from our guides we set off for gorilla trekking inside the Bwindi Forest. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy along with photographing and observing the gorillas. Coming back down from the mountains you will have time to refresh, relax, and share the highlights of seeing the great apes.

Option: Should you have the energy this afternoon, you will go for a village walk, see how Ugandans live and do it Uganndan!

Optional second day for gorilla trekking or simply spend the day relaxing at the lodge.

Day 11

Drive Back to Entebbe

After breakfast, we will depart Bwindi for Entebbe passing through Mbarara town for lunch and at the equator for a departing photograph. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Laico Lake Victoria Hotel in Entebbe.


Day 12

Reserved for Departure

Depending on your departure time, we can visit our capital city for shopping before you head to the airport for your flight back home.
