While in Nairobi, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Nursery. This is where Dame Daphne Sheldrick perfected the raising and re-integrating of orphaned elephants into the wild. One of the head keepers will give a talk about the elephants, where they came from, and how they are progressing.

Samburu National Reserve
Samburu is located in Northern Kenya located the Ewaso Nyiro River. Large herds of elephants (over 900), Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, buffalo, gerenuk, and the Beisa Oryx call this home.
