THE JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME

Arriving home safely and with the best possible memories and images of your journey is our goal. You will not be disappointed!

ABOUT & HISTORY

In 2012, after raising our family and becoming empty-nesters, we made our dreams a reality. Inspired by our grandfather’s love of wildlife and adventure, we used our 25+ years of experience in professional photography and business management to create Capture Africa Tours.
Although Dick’s grandfather’s dream of visiting Africa did not become a reality, Julie’s grandfather did and his pictures and stories gave birth to her desire to one day make the journey and find a way to share it with others. We created teams that support each tour by sharing their passion and expertise in tracking, guiding, and animal behavior.
We enjoy building friendships with fellow travelers and promise to inspire, educate and promote conservation on every trip. Every day on safari is exciting filled with new experiences, sights and sounds. There is nothing better than getting up before the sunrise and sipping our first cup of coffee as we anticipate the next game drive!
We look forward to sharing the gift of Africa with you!

What our clients say

“Seeing my foster elephants in real life was a privilege beyond belief and I cannot imagine a better company to do this with. Capture Africa Tours run by Dick Berry and his Kenyan partner Henry is fantastic.”
Mandy H. In the Shadow of Giants Elephant Safari
When I went on the ‘In the Shadow of Giants’ tour in October I was the most excited I have ever been to go on a vacation! The tour exceeded my expectations! I knew I would be going to the DSWT reintegration units but wasn’t sure what else I would see. I was blown away by all the wildlife we saw. The accomadations and food were exemplary. The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting the real African experience

Where do I start? I recently returned from “In the Shadow of Giants” tour and it was beyond my wildest dreams. I had been to Kenya before and the experience was life changing, and the tour they put together for visiting the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was simply AMAZING! Dick Berry of Capture Africa Tours has created a unique and phenomenal experience for any elephant lover. Asante sana Capture Africa Tours for this absolutely wonderful experience.
